Development of Business Member Organisations (BMOs)
UNITEE’s associations are all BMOs (Business Membership Organisations), that is, organisations with individual entrepreneurs as their members. BMOs have the twofold function of advocating for their members’ interests and delivering a wide range of requested services supporting their businesses.
Business Membership Organisations have a crucial role to play, especially in difficult economic times, in supporting their members’ development but also in promoting a business friendly environment to local and national governments. As a result, it is one of UNITEE’s priorities to support its member associations by enhancing their knowledge and skills.
In particular, UNITEE aims at facilitating the access of its associations to management tools and methods by:
Trainings
Offering training programmes as well as opportunities to network and exchange best practices.
Materials
Providing materials and tools to improve the quality of our associations’ management and activities.
